Interview and Interrogation

with

Mr. Patrick Kelly

With an excess of 32 years experience as a Special Agent of the FBI, Mr. Kelly has conducted over 2,000 interrogations and more than 6,000 interviews. He was a Polygraph Examiner for 20 years of his FBI service and an instructor of statement analysis, interviewing and interrogation as well. His education from St. Francis Collage in Brooklyn New York and graduate credits from Shippensbug University, University of Virginia in psychology and physiology, US Army Polygraph School and the FBI Academy have helped qualify him for his service.

He has provided training for over a thousand local, state and federal law enforcement officers in the intricacies of conducting criminal investigation specializing in statement analysis, interviewing and interrogation. As a Qualified Municipal Police Instructor he developed a course for Interviewing and Interrogation for the Municipal Police Officers Training and Education Committee. He is an adjunct instructor at the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI). Patrick was the first agent instructor requested to travel abroad on behalf of the FBI to teach interviewing and interrogation to hundreds of prosecutors and law enforcement officers from the countries of Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Mexico and Palestine.

Mr. Kelly’s polygraph experience includes service as a certified polygraph examiner since 1981 conducting specific issue criminal investigation polygraph examinations covering all types of criminal activity. He has conducted hundreds of polygraph examinations for pre-employment screening for numerous law enforcement agencies as well as counter-espionage polygraph examinations. Patrick has been a consultant on polygraph matters to the CIA, DEA, IRS, U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Customs and the Office of Independent Counsel.

He has provided testimony on numerous occasions in Federal, State and local courts and has been certified as an expert in the field of polygraph within the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pa.

Annual Arson Investigators Conference for Feb.22-Feb.26, 2009.<

*This information should be given to each group member.

·         Each group member needs to follow these steps to reserve their room in the block we have set aside for the Arson Investigators Conference Group.

·         Please call Melissa Yadon-Reyes in our Marketing Office at (800) 648-9660 Ext. 36667. Tell her that you would like to reserve a room with the Arson Investigators Group under the code “ARSON09” for Feb.22-Feb.26, 2008 at the following rate: $45 w/tax $52.20 each night for Sunday-Wednesday nights (rooms are also being held for Sat, Feb.21st at $90 plus tax) . Please include which nights you will be staying within the block.

·         Please note Marketing Office hours are 7AM-4PM Mon-Fri. If you leave a message it will be returned during these hours or you may call the numbers below.

·         Please note that the cut off date to make your reservations is Feb.16, 2009. Please be prepared to give your name, address, telephone number, and credit card information to secure your reservation. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Diners Club. Personal or Business Checks will not be accepted unless special arrangements have been made. (If sending a check, it must arrive prior to the groups’ arrival. Please ask Melissa for address of where to send a check.)

·         If you will be using a tax exempt number it must be given at the time of making your reservation. It will not be accepted at check in or check out.

·         Please let us know if you prefer a smoking or non-smoking room, and we will try to accommodate your preference. If you have any other special interests or requests, please let us know at this time.

·         If you would like to make a room reservation for a date different from the date(s) in the block, you will need to make a separate reservation for that room(s). Extra rooms before or after your group’s block may or may not be available and may be a different rate. We will advise you on room availability and room rates. We can then join all of your reservations together.

·         A 24-hour cancellation notice applies to all individual to book and pay group reservations and can be made through Melissa at the numbers above or through our main reservations at (800) 537-0207.

·         Any reservation made without a credit card to hold will automatically be canceled at 6:00PM on the date of arrival.

·         When you arrive at the hotel for your group event, please check into your room at the hotel front desk of your group’s event. To help with this process please provide the front desk clerk with the following:

1.        Photo Identification

2.        A credit card to bill expenses from room incidentals or a $50.00 cash deposit is required. We accept all major credit cards and will not accept a personal or business check.

3.        Charges to your room are from using room amenities such as Pay-per-view movies, telephone, video games, etc. If you do not use any of these amenities your room bill will not be charged.
