The Utah Chapter of the IAAI is grateful to the organizations that support fire investigation training in Utah. The sponsors below have been featured by the chapter; select a name to visit their website.
How Sponsorship Supports Training
Sponsor support contributes to the chapter's educational mission, including its annual conference for fire investigators. The chapter's by-laws also provide for sustaining membership, allowing individuals and organizations that support the chapter's purpose to contribute annual dues that are devoted to the chapter's educational functions.
Training Sponsorships for Agencies
The chapter has run a sponsorship program for agencies that need to get investigators trained but do not have the funds to do so. Applications have been distributed to agencies within Utah and to the private sector, and reviewed by the board before the conference. In a previous cycle, the chapter reported sponsoring five attendees. Announcements about future sponsorship opportunities are published in the chapter's news posts; you can also ask any board member for information.

Why Sponsorship Matters to Utah Investigators
As the chapter's sponsorship announcements have noted, some agencies need to get investigators trained but do not have the funds to do so. Support for the conference and the sponsorship program helps those investigators attend the same classroom sessions, practical exercises and legal updates as their colleagues, which benefits the communities they serve. Current and past conference topics are summarized on the Training page.
